Atenolol

A beta-blocker that slows down the heart rate and lowers blood pressure.

Indapamide

A diuretic that helps the body get rid of excess fluid and salt, also lowering blood pressure.

High blood pressure (hypertension)

Heart failure (when used in combination with other medications)

Atenolol blocks the action of adrenaline (epinephrine) on the heart, slowing down heart rate and reducing the force of heart contractions. Indapamide increases urine output, reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage is individualized and depends on your medical condition and response to treatment.

This medication is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor, as sudden withdrawal can be dangerous.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it can increase the risk of side effects.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or impaired vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication may harm the unborn baby. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for use in children.



Kidney

This medication may be less effective in people with kidney problems. Your doctor may need to adjust your dosage.



Liver

This medication may be less effective in people with liver problems. Your doctor may need to adjust your dosage.
