Temozolomide

Is the active ingredient.

Treatment of newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) in adults.

Treatment of recurrent malignant glioma in adults after prior radiotherapy.

Temoside 250mg 5s Cap (Temozolomide) is an alkylating agent. It penetrates the blood-brain barrier and undergoes conversion to its active form, methyldiazonium, which alkylates DNA, thus preventing cancer cell replication and causing cell death.

Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Protect from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Dosage is determined by your physician based on your individual needs and health status.

Typically administered orally once daily for a specific number of days in a cycle, followed by a period without treatment.

Dosage adjustments may be necessary based on blood count results and overall health.

Myelosuppression (reduced blood cell counts – leading to increased risk of infection, bleeding, and anemia)

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may exacerbate nausea and vomiting. Consult your doctor.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Temozolomide can cause fatigue and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Temozolomide is contraindicated during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.



Kidney

Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with impaired kidney function.



Liver

Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with impaired liver function.
