Telmisartan: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps relax blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Amlodipine: A calcium channel blocker that also relaxes blood vessels, improving blood flow.

Chlorthalidone: A thiazide diuretic that helps the body remove excess salt and water, reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure.

High blood pressure (hypertension) when other medications haven't been effective or are not suitable.

To reduce the risk of stroke in people with high blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy (thickening of the heart muscle).

This combination medication works by targeting different mechanisms to lower blood pressure: Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels by blocking calcium entry. Chlorthalidone reduces blood volume by promoting fluid excretion. This combined action effectively lowers blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not flush medication down the toilet or pour into the drain.

The usual starting dose is one tablet taken once daily.

Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage based on your individual needs and response to the medication.

Take the medication with a full glass of water, with or without food.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Common side effects include dizziness, headache, fatigue, swelling of ankles or feet, cough, and runny nose.

Alcohol Consumption
