A thiazide diuretic that helps your body get rid of excess salt and water.
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), often in patients who haven't responded adequately to other treatments.
May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive medications.
Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels, leading to lower blood pressure. Chlorthalidone increases urine output, reducing blood volume and further lowering blood pressure. The combined effect provides a synergistic reduction in blood pressure.
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

The medication is usually taken once daily, with or without food.
Dry cough (less common with ARBs than ACE inhibitors)

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it can worsen hypotension.
Caution advised, especially at the beginning of treatment, due to potential dizziness or lightheadedness.

Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney function. Dosage adjustment may be necessary.
