Azelnidipine

A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Telmisartan

An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.

Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure)

May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive medications

Azelnidipine blocks calcium channels in the heart and blood vessels, reducing the contraction of smooth muscle and lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels, thus further lowering blood pressure. The combination provides a synergistic effect, enhancing blood pressure control.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.

Typically, the medication is taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not abruptly stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor.

Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels)

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness and hypotension. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you, as it may cause dizziness or drowsiness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately.



Children

The safety and efficacy in children have not been established.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with kidney disease. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.



Liver

Caution is advised in patients with liver disease. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
