Formoterol: A long-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (LABA) that relaxes the muscles in the airways, making breathing easier.

Fluticasone Propionate: A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways.

Treatment of asthma, including maintenance therapy and relief of symptoms.

Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Formoterol and fluticasone propionate work together to improve breathing by relaxing the muscles in the airways and reducing inflammation. Formoterol provides rapid relief of symptoms, while fluticasone propionate helps prevent future symptoms and exacerbations.

Store at room temperature, between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F). Keep the inhaler dry and away from direct sunlight and heat.

The dosage is usually taken twice daily, morning and evening, as prescribed by your doctor.

It is essential to use the inhaler correctly. Your healthcare provider will demonstrate the proper technique.

The inhaler is typically used for 1 to 2 weeks before noticeable improvement in symptoms is observed.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Less common but serious side effects may include: increased blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, agitation, tremor, anxiety, and insomnia.

Common side effects may include: headache, sore throat, dry mouth, cough, thrush (oral yeast infection), voice changes, and muscle cramps.

Alcohol Consumption

It is generally safe to consume alcohol while using this medication, but excessive alcohol consumption may worsen breathing problems.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness and may impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. Use caution until you know how the medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medication should only be used during pregnancy if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Small amounts of the medication may pass into breast milk, so consult your doctor.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years old.



Kidney

Patients with kidney disease should use this medication with caution and under the supervision of a doctor.



Liver

Patients with liver disease should use this medication with caution and under the supervision of a doctor.
