Pholcodine

An antitussive (cough suppressant) that works by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain.

Promethazine

An antihistamine and antiemetic (anti-nausea and vomiting) that works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic reactions and nausea.

Relief of dry, unproductive coughs associated with the common cold, influenza, or other upper respiratory tract infections.

Suppression of cough in situations where coughing is harmful, such as after surgery or in patients with certain medical conditions.

This drug combination works by suppressing cough and reducing nausea and vomiting. Pholcodine directly acts on the cough center in the brain, reducing the urge to cough. Promethazine blocks histamine receptors, which reduces allergic reactions and also has antiemetic properties, preventing nausea and vomiting.

Store this medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
