Tadalafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.
Tadalafil is also used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate.
In some cases, tadalafil is prescribed for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) to improve exercise capacity.
Tazzle 5 Fm Strip Patch (Tadalafil) belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the muscles in the walls of blood vessels, allowing more blood to flow into the penis, leading to an erection.
Store tadalafil at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), in its original container, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
The dosage of tadalafil varies depending on the individual and the condition being treated. It is usually taken as needed, approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity.
For erectile dysfunction, the recommended dose is 10 mg, but can range from 2.5 mg to 20 mg.
For BPH, the recommended dose is 5 mg taken once daily.
For PAH, the recommended dose is 40 mg taken once daily.
