Tamflo 0.4mg Tab (Tamsulosin) is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. It relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow and reducing urinary symptoms associated with BPH. It specifically targets alpha-1A receptors found in the prostate.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any medication that is outdated or showing signs of degradation.
Dosage is determined by a doctor and depends on individual needs. Commonly prescribed doses range from 0.4mg to 0.8mg once daily.
It is usually taken orally, once daily, in the morning, on an empty stomach, or as directed by a physician.
Do not crush, chew, or break the capsules; swallow them whole with water.

Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness. Limit alcohol intake while taking tamsulosin.

Tamsulosin is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult with your doctor.
Tamsulosin is not indicated for use in children.
