Moxifloxacin

Is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic.

Bacterial infections of the lungs (e.g., pneumonia, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)

Bacterial infections of the sinuses (sinusitis)

Bacterial infections of the skin and skin structures (e.g., cellulitis, abscesses)

Complicated intraabdominal infections (in combination with other antibiotics)

Tagamox Eo Eye Oint 5gm (Moxifloxacin) works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for bacterial DNA replication and repair. This action prevents bacterial growth and ultimately leads to bacterial death.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C) away from moisture and direct sunlight. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage depends on the infection being treated and the patient's health. Always follow your doctor's instructions precisely.

Typically administered orally (tablets or suspension), intravenously (injection) or in some cases topically (eye drops)

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
