An aminoglycoside antibiotic that fights bacterial infections.
An antifungal that treats fungal infections.
Treatment of inflammatory dermatoses complicated by bacterial and fungal infections.
Infected eczematous lesions.
Secondary infected dermatoses such as psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis.
Betamethasone reduces inflammation by suppressing the immune response. Gentamicin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, killing bacteria. Miconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, thus disrupting fungal growth.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily.
Duration of treatment should be determined by a physician. Do not exceed recommended duration.
Wash hands before and after application.
Burning or stinging sensation at the application site.
Skin irritation, redness, dryness, or itching.
Acnelike eruptions (rare).
Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation (rare).
Allergic contact dermatitis.
No specific interactions are known, but excessive alcohol consumption should generally be avoided.
This medication is generally not expected to impair driving or operating machinery, but caution is advised if side effects such as dizziness or drowsiness occur.

Patients with impaired kidney function should use caution as gentamicin is renally excreted. A doctor should monitor kidney function.
