T Mart R Tab (Telmisartan + Rosuvastatin) is a combination medication that works in two ways to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Telmisartan blocks the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict, thereby lowering blood pressure. Rosuvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol levels and increases HDL cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of heart disease.
Store this medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not flush unused medications down the toilet or pour them down the drain unless instructed to do so by your healthcare provider.
The dosage of Telmisartan + Rosuvastatin is determined by your doctor and depends on your individual health condition and response to treatment.
This medication is typically taken once daily, with or without food.
It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor and to complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
Serious side effects are rare but may include liver problems, muscle damage (rhabdomyolysis), and allergic reactions.
Common side effects include headache, muscle pain, dizziness, and fatigue.
Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of side effects, including dizziness and fatigue. It is best to avoid alcohol while taking this medication.
This medication may cause dizziness. If you experience this side effect, avoid driving or operating machinery until it subsides.
