Carbidopa: Prevents the breakdown of levodopa in the bloodstream, allowing more levodopa to reach the brain.

Entacapone: Inhibits the enzyme COMT, which breaks down levodopa in the body, further increasing the amount of levodopa reaching the brain.

Treatment of Parkinson's disease symptoms, such as tremors, stiffness, slowness of movement, and difficulty with balance.

This medication works by increasing the levels of dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that helps control movement. When dopamine levels are low, as in Parkinson's disease, movement becomes difficult. By increasing dopamine levels, this medication helps improve movement and reduce symptoms.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is individualized and depends on the severity of your condition and response to treatment.

Typically taken 3-4 times a day with or without food.

Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water.

Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may worsen the side effects of this medication, especially dizziness and drowsiness.

This medication can cause drowsiness and dizziness, so it's important to avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

This medication is not approved for use in children.
