Sycomin 75mg Tablet (Imipramine) is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA). It works by increasing the levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and norepinephrine. These neurotransmitters play a role in regulating mood, sleep, appetite, and other functions.

Store imipramine at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of imipramine will vary depending on your condition, age, and response to treatment.

It is usually taken orally, with or without food, once or twice daily.

It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

Imipramine is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.



Kidney

Imipramine may need to be adjusted for people with kidney problems.
