May be used as a secondline treatment option for acne patients who have not responded adequately to other topical treatments.
Supatret C Gel 15gm (Clindamycin + Tretinoin) works in two ways: Clindamycin: Kills bacteria that contribute to acne by preventing protein synthesis in the bacteria. Tretinoin: Reduces inflammation, unclogs pores, and promotes cell turnover to prevent acne breakouts.
Store at room temperature between 15-30°C (59-86°F). Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Apply a thin layer to affected areas of the skin once daily, usually at bedtime.
Wash your hands thoroughly after application.
Do not apply to irritated or broken skin.
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
Acne flare-up (may occur initially, but should subside with continued use).
Rarely, more serious side effects may occur. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience: severe skin reaction, swelling, fever, or difficulty breathing.
Skin irritation, dryness, redness, burning, or peeling.
Increased sensitivity to sunlight (photosensitivity).
Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it can worsen skin irritation and potential side effects.
This medicine is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for advice.
Not recommended for use in children under the age of 12.
