Artesunate

Artesunate is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called antimalarials.

Treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, the most dangerous type of malaria.

May also be used for severe malaria in combination with other medications.

Sunarte 50mg Tablet (Artesunate) works by killing the malaria parasite that infects red blood cells. It does this by interfering with the parasite's ability to produce proteins essential for its survival.

Store Artesunate at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Dosage depends on the severity of the malaria infection, the age and weight of the patient, and the specific formulation of Artesunate being used.

Artesunate is usually taken orally, either as a tablet or syrup.

It can also be administered intravenously or intramuscularly in severe cases.
