Sumatriptan

Sumatriptan is the active ingredient in the medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called triptans, which are selective serotonin 5-HT1B/1D receptor agonists.

Migraine headaches with or without aura.

Cluster headaches.

Sumeday 50 Tablet Ir (Sumatriptan) works by narrowing blood vessels in the brain and blocking the release of certain substances that cause pain and inflammation, effectively reducing the severity and duration of migraine and cluster headaches.

Store sumatriptan at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage and frequency of sumatriptan will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical history.

It is typically taken orally or injected (nasally or subcutaneously).

Alcohol Consumption

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

Sumatriptan is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

People with kidney problems should use sumatriptan with caution.
