Darifenacin

Darifenacin is a medication used to treat overactive bladder (OAB) in adults. OAB is a condition characterized by an urge to urinate frequently and suddenly, and sometimes leakage of urine.

Stayhappi Darifenacin 7.5mg Tablet (Darifenacin) works by blocking the action of a certain chemical messenger (acetylcholine) in the bladder. This helps to relax the bladder muscle and reduce the urge to urinate frequently. It also helps to reduce the chance of leaking urine.

Store darifenacin at room temperature, between 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit), away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.

The usual starting dose of darifenacin is 7.5 mg once a day. Your doctor may adjust the dosage based on your individual needs.

Darifenacin is typically taken by mouth with a glass of water.

You can take darifenacin with or without food.

Common side effects of darifenacin include dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, and dizziness.

Serious side effects can occur, including heat stroke, especially in hot weather.

Alcohol Consumption

Darifenacin can increase the risk of dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Darifenacin can cause dizziness and blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It is not known if darifenacin is safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Darifenacin is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

Your doctor may adjust the dosage if you have kidney problems.



Liver

Your doctor may adjust the dosage if you have liver problems.
