Amlodipine

Amlodipine is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called calcium channel blockers.

Stamlo 5 Tab (Amlodipine) works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload of the heart.

Store amlodipine at room temperature, away from light and moisture.

The dosage of amlodipine will be determined by your doctor, based on your individual needs and medical condition.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not crush or chew the tablet. Swallow it whole with water.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking amlodipine.



Driving or operating Machinery

Amlodipine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Amlodipine may not be safe for use during these times.



Children

Amlodipine is not recommended for use in children.



Kidney

If you have kidney problems, your doctor may need to adjust your dose of amlodipine.



Liver

If you have liver problems, your doctor may need to adjust your dose of amlodipine.
