Cefalexin

A cephalosporin antibiotic that fights bacteria.

Clavulanic Acid

A beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects cefalexin from breakdown by certain bacteria.

Cefalexin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, preventing bacterial growth and reproduction. Clavulanic acid prevents the inactivation of cefalexin by bacterial beta-lactamases, enzymes that break down many antibiotics. This combination allows the antibiotic to effectively target a wider range of bacteria.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Dosage varies depending on the infection's severity, patient's age, and weight. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

Take with a full glass of water, preferably with food to reduce stomach upset.

Complete the entire course of medication, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
