Paracetamol

A non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic that reduces fever and relieves mild to moderate pain.

Relief of moderate to moderately severe pain accompanied by abdominal cramps or spasms.

Treatment of painful menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea).

This combination drug works synergistically. Dicyclomine reduces muscle spasms, while dextropropoxyphene and paracetamol provide pain relief through different mechanisms. Dextropropoxyphene acts on opioid receptors in the brain to reduce pain perception, whereas paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which are involved in producing pain and inflammation.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Take the medication with food or milk to reduce stomach upset.

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant. Dextropropoxyphene use during pregnancy is generally discouraged.



Children

Use in children should only be under the strict supervision of a physician.



Kidney & Liver

Caution is advised in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend an alternative treatment.
