Sotalol is used to treat irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter), and to prevent a heart attack in people who have already had one.

Sotalar 40mg Tab (Sotalol) works by slowing down the heartbeat and making the heart beat more regularly. It also blocks the effects of adrenaline, a hormone that speeds up the heart. It is classified as a beta-blocker.

Store sotalol at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
