This combination drug works through multiple mechanisms: Caffeine provides alertness; Cetirizine blocks histamine receptors to reduce allergy symptoms; Nimesulide inhibits prostaglandin synthesis to reduce pain and inflammation; Paracetamol reduces fever and pain through unclear mechanisms; and Phenylephrine constricts blood vessels to relieve nasal congestion. The synergistic effect of these components is intended to provide broader symptom relief.
