Sertaconazole: This is an antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause skin infections.
Beclometasone: This is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and redness in the skin.
Treatment of fungal skin infections like tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis (ringworm) when accompanied by inflammation.
Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis, a common skin condition that causes scaly patches and redness, often on the scalp, face, and chest.
Sertaconazole inhibits the growth of fungi by interfering with the production of ergosterol, a vital component of their cell membranes. Beclometasone reduces inflammation and redness by suppressing the release of inflammatory substances.
Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the medication after the expiry date mentioned on the label.
Apply a thin layer of the cream or ointment to the affected area twice a day, morning and evening.
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medication.
Continue using the medication for the full duration prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel better. Stopping treatment prematurely can lead to a recurrence of the infection.
If using the cream or ointment on the scalp, apply it directly to the scalp and massage gently.
