Salmeterol: A long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) that helps relax the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe.

Fluticasone Propionate: A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways.

Maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 4 years and older.

Prevention of exerciseinduced bronchospasm (EIB) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.

Salmeterol and Fluticasone Propionate work together to control asthma symptoms. Salmeterol provides long-acting bronchodilation (opens airways) while fluticasone propionate reduces inflammation in the airways. This combination helps prevent asthma attacks and improve lung function.

Store at room temperature, between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F). Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of Salmeterol and Fluticasone Propionate depends on your age, severity of asthma, and individual response. Always follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

This medication is usually inhaled through a device called an inhaler. Make sure to use the inhaler correctly as instructed.

Do not exceed the prescribed dosage. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.

Serious side effects: Paradoxical bronchospasm (wheezing or difficulty breathing), fungal infection in the mouth (thrush), high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, cataracts, glaucoma, osteoporosis (weak bones).

Common side effects: Headache, sore throat, cough, stuffy nose.

Less common side effects: Muscle cramps, tremors, dizziness, anxiety.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it can worsen the effects of this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medication may be harmful to the fetus or infant.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 4 years of age.



Kidney

No significant interactions with kidney function have been reported.



Liver

Liver problems may increase the risk of side effects. Talk to your doctor if you have liver problems.
