Bimatoprost

A prostaglandin analog that lowers intraocular pressure (iop) by increasing aqueous humor outflow.

Timolol Maleate

A beta-blocker that lowers iop by decreasing the production of aqueous humor.

Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with openangle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

May be used as adjunctive therapy to other IOPlowering medications.

This combination drug works by employing two different mechanisms to lower IOP. Bimatoprost increases the outflow of aqueous humor, while Timolol decreases the production of aqueous humor. This dual action leads to a more effective reduction in IOP than either drug alone.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.

Dosage and frequency should be determined by your ophthalmologist.

Typically, one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Changes in eyelash growth (length, thickness, darkness)

Eye irritation (burning, stinging, itching)

Alcohol Consumption

The interaction between alcohol and this medication is not well-documented, however, excessive alcohol consumption is generally discouraged.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause blurred vision; avoid driving or operating machinery until vision is clear.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with severe kidney disease.



Liver

Use with caution in patients with severe liver disease.
