Scarend Silicone Gel 10gm (Heparin Sodium) is an anticoagulant. It works by binding to antithrombin III, enhancing its ability to inhibit several coagulation factors, including thrombin and factor Xa. This action prevents the formation of blood clots.
Store at controlled room temperature (20-25°C/68-77°F). Protect from light. Do not freeze. Discard any unused portion after the expiry date.
Dosage is determined by the physician based on individual patient needs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.
Heparin sodium is administered intravenously (IV) or subcutaneously (SC).
