Scarend Gel 10gm (Heparin) works by binding to antithrombin III, which then inactivates several clotting factors (thrombin, factor Xa), thus preventing blood clot formation. LMWHs have a slightly different mechanism and typically focus on inhibiting factor Xa.

Store as directed on the product label. Generally, it involves refrigeration and protection from light. Never use heparin after its expiry date.
