Cetirizine

An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergy symptoms.

Dextromethorphan

An antitussive (cough suppressant) that works by reducing activity in the part of the brain that controls coughing.

Paracetamol

An analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) that works by reducing the production of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause pain and fever.

Phenylephrine

A decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages, relieving congestion.

Relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and allergies, including:

Runny nose

Sneezing

Itchy and watery eyes

Coughing

Congestion

Headache

Fever

Sore throat

This combination medication works by targeting different aspects of cold and allergy symptoms. Cetirizine blocks histamine, reducing allergy symptoms like sneezing and itchy eyes. Dextromethorphan suppresses coughs. Paracetamol relieves pain and fever. Phenylephrine shrinks blood vessels in the nose, reducing congestion.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.

Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed, not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Children 6-11 years: Take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed, not to exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Do not give to children under 6 years old unless directed by a doctor.

Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as it can increase the risk of drowsiness and other side effects.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is generally not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless the benefits outweigh the risks.



Children

Do not give this medication to children under 6 years old unless directed by a doctor.



Kidney

Use with caution in people with kidney problems. Your doctor may need to adjust your dose.



Liver

Use with caution in people with liver problems. Your doctor may need to adjust your dose.
