Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Symptoms include dizziness, sweating, trembling, and confusion.

Alcohol Consumption

Children

Not recommended for use in children.



Kidney

Metformin should be used with caution in individuals with kidney problems, as it can increase the risk of lactic acidosis.
