Sandrot 80mg Tablet (Drotaverine) acts as a smooth muscle relaxant. It inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase, leading to increased levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). This increase in cAMP causes relaxation of smooth muscle cells in the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, and urinary tract, relieving spasms and pain.
