Salbutamol

A short-acting beta2-agonist bronchodilator, it relaxes the muscles around the airways in the lungs, making breathing easier.

Bromhexine

An expectorant, it helps to loosen and thin the mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up.

Treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis

Relief of symptoms associated with respiratory tract infections, such as cough with phlegm

Treatment of bronchospasm in patients with reversible obstructive airway disease (e.g., asthma, COPD – but typically used in conjunction with other, more potent medications for these conditions)

Salbutamol acts by binding to beta2-adrenergic receptors in the lungs, leading to relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle and bronchodilation. Bromhexine reduces the viscosity of mucus by altering the structure of mucopolysaccharides, facilitating its expectoration.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should always be as prescribed by a physician. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

The usual adult dose is one to two tablets three times daily.

For children, the dosage is adjusted according to age and weight as determined by the doctor.
