Aspirin

A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) and antiplatelet agent.

Secondary prevention of cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke) in patients with a history of these events.

Reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with multiple risk factors, such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Management of coronary artery disease.

This combination therapy works through three distinct mechanisms: Aspirin inhibits platelet aggregation, reducing the risk of clot formation. Rosuvastatin lowers low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, a major contributor to atherosclerosis. Clopidogrel also inhibits platelet aggregation, providing an additional layer of antiplatelet protection.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.

Bleeding (gastrointestinal bleeding, easy bruising): Increased risk due to aspirin and clopidogrel.

Muscle aches and pains (myalgia): A potential side effect of rosuvastatin.

Gastrointestinal upset (nausea, heartburn): Common with aspirin.

Liver enzyme elevation: Requires monitoring, particularly with rosuvastatin.

Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling): Possible with any component of the medication.

Alcohol Consumption

Excessive alcohol consumption can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, especially in combination with aspirin and clopidogrel.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Drowsiness or dizziness are potential side effects; avoid operating machinery if affected.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding; consult with your doctor.



Children

Generally not indicated in children; use should be determined by a physician.



Kidney

Dosage adjustment may be necessary for individuals with impaired kidney function.



Liver

Dosage adjustment or monitoring is necessary for individuals with liver impairment; rosuvastatin requires close monitoring.
