Isoniazid interferes with the synthesis of mycolic acids, essential components of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis cell wall. Rifampicin inhibits bacterial DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, preventing bacterial protein synthesis. Pyridoxine counteracts the peripheral neuropathy that isoniazid can cause.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.
