Clindamycin

An antibiotic that fights bacteria causing acne.

Tretinoin

A retinoid (derivative of vitamin a) that helps to unclog pores, reduce inflammation, and accelerate cell turnover.

Treatment of inflammatory acne vulgaris (acne with papules and pustules)

May be used in combination therapy for severe acne unresponsive to other treatments

Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby reducing the bacterial load contributing to acne. Tretinoin increases cell turnover, reducing sebum production and unclogging pores, thus preventing further acne formation and reducing inflammation.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after expiration.

Dosage will be prescribed by a dermatologist and varies depending on the severity of acne and individual response.

Typically applied topically once or twice daily to affected areas after cleansing.
