0 Diloxanide furoate: This drug acts directly on the parasite Entamoeba histolytica, interfering with its metabolism and leading to its death.1 Methylpolysiloxane: This agent helps reduce gas bubbles in the intestines by making them smaller and easier to pass. It doesn't kill parasites or bacteria.2 Tinidazole: Tinidazole is an antibiotic that works by damaging the DNA of bacteria and parasites, preventing them from multiplying and ultimately leading to their death.
Store this medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablets.
Complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better before the end.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
