Rekool 40mg Tab (Rabeprazole) works by blocking the production of stomach acid. It does this by inhibiting the enzyme called the hydrogen potassium adenosine triphosphatase (H+/K+-ATPase) pump, which is responsible for the final step in acid secretion.
Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
The dosage of rabeprazole varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual patient's needs.
It is typically taken once daily, before a meal.

Alcohol may worsen the side effects of rabeprazole, especially heartburn and nausea. It's best to avoid alcohol while taking this medication.

Rabeprazole is not typically used in children.
People with kidney problems may need to take a lower dose of rabeprazole.
