Aliskiren

Rasilez 150mg Tab (Aliskiren) is a direct renin inhibitor. Renin is an enzyme involved in the production of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict and increases blood pressure. By inhibiting renin, aliskiren reduces the formation of angiotensin II, leading to lower blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional and is individualized based on your health condition and response to treatment.

Commonly administered once daily, with or without food.

Do not change your dosage or stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

While Driving or operating Machinery

Aliskiren may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Aliskiren is contraindicated during pregnancy. It's not recommended during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or plan to breastfeed.



Children

The safety and efficacy of aliskiren in children have not been established.



Kidney

Aliskiren should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney function. Renal function monitoring may be necessary.



Liver

No specific precautions are generally recommended for patients with mild to moderate liver impairment, but individual assessment is crucial. Severe liver impairment may require dosage adjustment or alternative treatment.
