Ramirace 10mg Tab (Ramipril) inhibits the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), reducing the production of angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor. This leads to vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), decreased blood pressure, and reduced strain on the heart.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is determined by the doctor based on individual needs and medical condition.

Usually started at a low dose and gradually increased.

Taken orally, once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

Should be swallowed whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of low blood pressure and dizziness. Consult your doctor.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Ramipril may cause dizziness or fatigue. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Ramipril is generally contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately.



Children

Use in children is generally not recommended unless specifically prescribed by a pediatric cardiologist.



Kidney

Ramipril should be used cautiously in patients with impaired kidney function; dosage adjustments may be necessary.



Liver

Ramipril should be used cautiously in patients with impaired liver function; dosage adjustments may be necessary.
