Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels directly, while ramipril indirectly lowers blood pressure by inhibiting the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), reducing vasoconstriction and fluid retention. Their combined action provides a synergistic effect in controlling blood pressure.
