To prevent and treat asthma symptoms in adults and children 4 years of age and older.

To prevent exerciseinduced bronchospasm in adults and children 4 years of age and older.

To treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults.

This combination medication works by reducing inflammation and relaxing the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe. Fluticasone, a corticosteroid, reduces inflammation in the airways by suppressing the release of substances that cause inflammation. Salmeterol, a long-acting beta2-agonist, relaxes the muscles in the airways by stimulating beta2-receptors, which widens the airways.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of this medication is determined by your doctor, based on your age, weight, and the severity of your condition.

It is usually inhaled once or twice a day, as directed by your doctor.

Follow the instructions on the medication label carefully.

Do not stop taking this medication without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better.

Serious side effects are rare, but may include: heart problems, high blood sugar, and fungal infections in the mouth.

Common side effects include: headache, sore throat, dry mouth, cough, and hoarseness.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.

Children
