About Quadrocef 1gm/125mg Injection
Cefepime/Tazobactam is a powerful antibiotic combination used to treat serious bacterial infections. It works by preventing bacterial cell wall formation and protecting against bacterial enzymes that degrade antibiotics. While generally safe, side effects like nausea, rash, and diarrhea are possible. Always inform your doctor about your medical history, including allergies, kidney or liver problems, and pregnancy. Strictly follow prescribed dosages and complete the entire course of treatment, even if you feel better. Report any concerning side effects to your physician immediately.

How Quadrocef 1gm/125mg Injection Works

Cefepime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs). Tazobactam inhibits beta-lactamases, enzymes produced by bacteria that inactivate many beta-lactam antibiotics, thus extending cefepime's effectiveness against beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.
