Psoralys Oint 20gm (Calcitriol) works by binding to vitamin D receptors in your intestines, bones, and kidneys. This binding helps your body absorb calcium from your diet and reduces calcium loss from your bones, ultimately raising blood calcium levels.
Store calcitriol at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of calcitriol will vary depending on your individual needs and the condition being treated.
Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you.
It is usually taken by mouth, once a day, with or without food.
