Conjugated Estrogens

Conjugated estrogens are a mixture of estrogen hormones derived from pregnant mare urine. Specific estrogen components and their proportions may vary slightly between brands.The exact composition should be checked on the specific product label.

Moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes, night sweats) associated with menopause.

Treatment of atrophic vaginitis (vaginal dryness and irritation) in postmenopausal women.

Prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk for fractures.

Premarin 0.3mg Tab (Conjugated Estrogens) replace the decreased estrogen levels experienced by women after menopause. They bind to estrogen receptors in various tissues, exerting effects such as reducing vasomotor symptoms, improving vaginal health, and increasing bone mineral density.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage varies depending on the indication and individual patient needs. Always follow your doctor's prescribed dosage and instructions.

Conjugated estrogens are typically administered orally.

Missed doses should be taken as soon as remembered, unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.

Leg cramps

Increased risk of blood clots (thromboembolism)

Alcohol Consumption

The interaction between conjugated estrogens and alcohol is not well-established, but excessive alcohol consumption is generally discouraged.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Drowsiness is a potential side effect; avoid driving or operating machinery if experiencing drowsiness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Conjugated estrogens are contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.



Children

Not indicated for use in children.



Kidney

Patients with severe kidney disease should use with caution. Dosage adjustment may be required.



Liver

Patients with severe liver disease should use with caution. Dosage adjustment may be required.
