Prazopress 2mg Tab (Prazosin) belongs to a class of medications called alpha-blockers. It works by relaxing the muscles in the blood vessels, which helps lower blood pressure. In the case of BPH, it relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate.

Store prazosin at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of prazosin will vary depending on your condition and how your body responds to the medication.

It is usually taken once or twice a day, with or without food.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not take more or less than prescribed.

It is important to take prazosin at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Prazosin should not be taken during pregnancy unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. It is unknown if prazosin passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Kidney
