Pedicloryl Syp 30ml (Triclofos) sodium is metabolized in the body to trichloroethanol, which has sedative properties. It works by increasing the activity of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation and sleep.

Store triclofos sodium at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of triclofos sodium is typically 0.5 to 1 gram taken orally at bedtime.

The dosage may vary depending on the individual's age, weight, and medical condition.

Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, headache, and nausea.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking triclofos sodium as it can increase the risk of side effects.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Do not drive or operate machinery after taking triclofos sodium, as it can impair your judgment and coordination.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Triclofos sodium is not recommended for pregnant women or those who are breastfeeding. It may harm the developing fetus or infant.



Children

Triclofos sodium is not recommended for children.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.



Liver

Use with caution in patients with liver disease.
