The combination aims to address both the depressive and anxiety components of a disorder.

Avoid alcohol consumption as it can potentiate the sedative effects of both paroxetine and clonazepam, leading to increased drowsiness and impaired coordination.
Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you. Drowsiness and impaired judgment are potential side effects.
