Clobetasone Butyrate

Clobetasone butyrate is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called topical corticosteroids.Topical corticosteroids are used to reduce inflammation and itching in the skin.

Treatment of various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and allergic reactions.

Relief of itching, redness, swelling, and discomfort associated with these skin conditions.

Paedisone Cream 15gm (Clobetasone Butyrate) works by reducing the production of substances in the body that cause inflammation and itching. It also suppresses the immune response in the skin.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.

Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected area of skin as directed by your doctor.

Do not apply more medication than prescribed, as it can increase the risk of side effects.

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication, unless your hands are the affected area.

Avoid getting the medication in your eyes, nose, or mouth.

If you are using the medication on the face, apply it carefully and avoid getting it in your eyes.

Do not cover the treated area with a bandage unless directed by your doctor.

Burning, stinging, or itching at the application site.

If you experience any of these side effects, talk to your doctor.

In rare cases, topical corticosteroids can be absorbed through the skin and cause systemic effects, such as adrenal suppression.
