Pimecrolimus

Is the active ingredient.

Treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in patients aged 2 years and older who are not adequately responding to, or are intolerant of, other topical treatments.

Pacroma Cream 30gm (Pimecrolimus) is a topical calcineurin inhibitor. It works by suppressing the activation of T lymphocytes, which play a key role in the inflammatory process of atopic dermatitis. This reduces inflammation and itching.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.

Apply a thin film to the affected area twice daily.

Do not apply to open wounds, infected skin, or on the face of children under 2 years of age.

Wash hands thoroughly before and after application.

Alcohol Consumption

No specific interaction with alcohol is known, but excessive alcohol use may negatively impact skin health.



While Driving or operating Machinery

No significant impact on alertness or cognitive function is expected, but drowsiness or other side effects are possible.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using pimecrolimus if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan to become pregnant.



Children

Only suitable for children aged 2 years and older; use under strict medical supervision. Avoid application to the face of children under 2 years old.



Kidney

No specific precautions are needed for patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. Consult your physician if you have severe kidney disease.



Liver

No specific precautions are needed for patients with mild to moderate liver disease. Consult your physician if you have severe liver disease.
