Paracetamol works by reducing the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause pain and fever. Promethazine blocks the action of histamine, a chemical that causes allergy symptoms, and also has anti-nausea effects by calming the area of the brain that controls vomiting.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage should be prescribed by a healthcare professional and depends on the age, weight, and condition of the patient.

The medication is usually taken orally, with or without food.
